In the early morning hours on April 25th 2010 members of the Bellevue Volunteer fire department answered their last fire/rescue call, at 6:00am 4/25/2010 the new part-time paid Fire Department staff took the reins. Since then the volunteers have a new mission raising funds for fire safety and prevention by renting out their banquet hall.
